2018 News and Events
2018 has already been a very eventful year. Paper files are a thing of the past and the probate courts are now fully online (with a few exceptions). The four probate courts were among the first courts to accommodate the criminal courts displaced by Harvey by temporarily combining into two courts. Subsequent to that, with the help of the Harris County IT Department, we were able to create an "ancillary" probate court to allow all probate courts to hear more matters during the week.
I want to thank my staff, who are as professional as it gets. It is a pleasure to show up for work every day and be around them. They are the ones behind the scenes who work so hard to prepare me, process the paperwork, and make things flow smoothly. As the November election nears, I also want to again thank those who have supported me over the years. It has been (and I hope continues to be) the highlight of my professional life.
